Hello and welcome to my new blog.

This is the part of my website where I provide updates on recent tax issues and upcoming tax changes to be aware of. I will also highlight tax planning opportunities for individuals, families, small business owners and property owners, and consider some technical tax issues in further detail. I promise to keep the blog posts concise and free of tax jargon!

The blogs should contain content that will be of interest to individual taxpayers, start up businesses, established businesses, trustees/executors and other professional advisers. The content will include reference to real life situations that I have come across while working as a tax adviser. 

While it is possible to readily access a great deal of information online about tax issues, I believe that there is no substitute for engaging the services of a tax professional. I consider this topic further in my first blog.
